Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester with strong expertise in performance testing, load testing, and performance engineering for web-based applications and backend legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JMeter, HP LoadRunner, VuGen scripting, workload modelling, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests.
Perform performance testing for internet-facing, web-based applications and backend legacy systems.
Create and implement workload models to simulate real-world user traffic and usage patterns.
Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
Perform scripting and parameterization using VuGen (Virtual User Generator).
Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend data validation and performance analysis.
Work with Performance Center for test execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Track defects, document findings, and collaborate with development and QA teams using Jira and ALM.
Follow SDLC and STLC methodologies throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications
6–8 years of experience in performance testing.
Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and HP LoadRunner.
Expertise in VuGen scripting and workload modelling.
Familiarity with Performance Center.
Strong experience with Jira and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
Experience testing web-based applications and backend legacy systems.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

A detail-oriented performance testing professional who can independently design and execute performance tests, analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability, scalability, and reliability.
