Description:
CBC/Radio-Canada is offering an exciting opportunity for a News Internship in Fall 2025. As a journalism student, you will be immersed in the dynamic world of media and broadcasting, helping tell the stories that matter to Canadians. The internship provides hands-on experience and mentorship, offering exposure to various departments involved in news production. Interns will be expected to work full-time for six consecutive weeks and should not have any prior editorial internship experience at CBC.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in editorial roles such as researching, writing, and editing news stories.
Work alongside professionals in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
Contribute to various projects, learning how news is created and delivered across multiple platforms.
Support the team in all aspects of news production, from planning to broadcast.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a journalism program recognized by CBC.
Must be recommended by your school's journalism coordinator to apply.
Available to work full-time for six consecutive weeks, Monday through Friday.
Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (International students can apply if they hold a valid work permit).
Proficiency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Experience with news production or editorial roles is a plus but not required.
