Mro Procurement Manager

Description:

Labatt Breweries of Canada, a leading name in the brewing industry, is seeking a Manager of MRO Procurement (Maintenance – Repair – Overhaul) to handle the procurement of services and parts across all AB production locations in North America. This role focuses on optimizing overhaul procedures, negotiating service contracts, and ensuring supply security while meeting company objectives for cost savings, cash-flow improvement, and supply-chain efficiency.

The ideal candidate will develop and execute category strategies, manage supplier relations, negotiate contracts, and oversee the procurement of high-quality MRO services that support critical projects. This position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills, along with experience in supply chain and procurement best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Category Sourcing: Define and execute short- and long-term procurement strategies and assess supply risks.
• Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead contract negotiations, manage change orders, and ensure full compliance.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Engage senior leadership to align on strategic initiatives and procurement goals.
• Supply-Chain Optimization: Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, value engineering, and efficiency improvements.
• Issue Resolution: Address outstanding contract and purchase order issues with suppliers.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (MBA/Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives independently.
• Expertise in negotiation, analytics, stakeholder influence, and procurement communication.
• Proficiency in Ariba, SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for sourcing, analysis, and reporting.
