Manager, Maintenance

Position Summary The Maintenance Manager will have the overall responsibility for all facilities and maintenance management. This includes planning and implementing efficiencies within current facilities and future development and /or expansion of capacity and facilities. Also, to supervise the duties of all maintenance staff to address day-to-day equipment and process issues. Key Accountabilities • Provide leadership for the entire plant maintenance group, utilizing project management methodology for plant operating improvements.
 

• Ensure efficient operation of equipment and plant services including cost control, safety and product quality. • Analyze current and future opportunities for cost savings. • Document and maintain standard operating procedures, user manuals and training materials. • Oversee the smooth operation support of business process control system (BPCS) plant maintenance function, work orders and equipment tracking Requirements • Minimum of 5 years management experience in a trade / engineering-oriented function.
• Mechanical / Industrial Engineer (preferred) or Mechanical Millwright or Electrician License with ‘Class A’ Refrigeration engineering ticket is an asset. • Working Knowledge of CAD System & Blueprints. • Working knowledge of Ammonia plant operations including powerhouse support. • Strong leadership and project management skills.
