Description:

TreeHouse Foods, a leading manufacturer of private label packaged foods and beverages, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager, Customer and Category Management to drive strategic growth initiatives within assigned product categories and key customer accounts. The role involves proactively managing the bid process, winning new distribution opportunities, and cultivating strong buyer relationships.

The manager will be responsible for analyzing customer and category data, negotiating bids, justifying new shelf space, identifying assortment gaps, and ensuring category growth. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, influencing customer strategic plans, managing demand planning, and ensuring the execution of category goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving bid wins and defending assigned categories by managing the entire bid process from insights to execution.

• Expanding distribution by identifying new SKUs and white space opportunities aligned with TreeHouse’s core capabilities.

• Building and maintaining strong buyer relationships and serving as the primary contact for assigned categories.

• Proactively selling TreeHouse’s value proposition, aligning with category annual playbooks, and leading innovation and seasonal plans.

• Analyzing customer data to identify actions that enhance business performance for both TreeHouse and its customers.

• Ensuring accurate demand planning and providing solutions to meet strategic goals.
