Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to join their dynamic team in Mississauga, Ontario. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customized transportation and logistics solutions for consumer and commercial customers, including Fortune 500 companies.

  • Manage and optimize a large inventory of Penske’s world-class fleet of trucks and vehicles to ensure maximum productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Generate new business leads while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients.

  • Support operations through scheduling, coordinating, and problem-solving in day-to-day business functions.

  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure client satisfaction in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

  • Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop business management, financial analysis, and operational leadership skills.

  • Complete assigned projects and tasks as directed by supervisors.

  • Travel occasionally within the district (customer yards, local training sites) and to the United States for training within the first six months.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Customer service orientation and results-driven attitude.

  • Valid Class G (or Class 5) driver’s license with the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including 26’ box trucks.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (12 kg) occasionally.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed within the district.

  • Eligibility to travel to the U.S. for training.

  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.


Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

  • Capable of standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.

  • Frequent use of hands to handle and reach.

  • Occasional lifting and moving of up to 25 lbs (12 kg).

  • Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception for operational safety.
