Maintenance Field Operations

Description:

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Maintenance Field Operations to lead service operations in its Hamilton branch. The selected individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day field staff operations, ensuring safety compliance, implementing field training programs, maintaining project schedules, and driving operational excellence to deliver superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the performance of field operations for all service and maintenance projects.

• Maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.

• Develop and execute action plans to address safety, callback rates, and technical deficiencies.

• Generate field leads and collaborate with service sales representatives to promote upgrades and repairs.

• Recommend improvements in maintenance service documentation, methods, processes, and delivery.

• Set and manage budgets for materials and labor, ensuring cost-effective maintenance and repairs.

• Conduct field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop safety/logistics plans.

• Forecast and schedule labor resources while improving efficiencies and maintaining quality assurance.

• Coordinate material deliveries and purchase orders.

• Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and field employees.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

• Technical proficiency with Microsoft-based computer software.

• Elevator industry experience or experience leading field-level associates in a similar sector preferred.
