The Université de Saint-Boniface (USB), founded in 1818, is the first and only French-language university in Manitoba and Western Canada. With a student population of over 1,500 and more than 2,000 continuing education learners, USB offers 27 college and university-level programs across several faculties and departments. Located in the historic French-speaking district of Saint-Boniface in the heart of Winnipeg, the university is known for its academic excellence and community engagement.

The School of Business Administration, established in 1999, offers a Bachelor’s degree program that delivers a cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary education in various fields of business. The school boasts alumni recognized both nationally and internationally for their knowledge, adaptability, and ability to tackle the complex challenges faced by modern-day managers. The school is closely connected to the business world and affiliated with the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the university is seeking part-time course instructors for the following subjects:


Courses – Fall 2025 Semester:

  • ACC 2011 – Intermediate Accounting: Assets
    Focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of accounting for various asset categories within financial reporting frameworks.

  • ACC 4011 – Auditing
    Introduction to auditing concepts, procedures, standards, and the auditor’s role in the financial reporting process.

  • FIN 3411 – Investments
    Covers investment theory, financial instruments, portfolio management, and risk-return analysis.

  • MKT 3221 – Marketing Research
    Teaches methodologies and tools for conducting and analyzing market research to inform marketing strategies.

  • MKT 3301 – International Marketing
    Focuses on global marketing strategies, cultural adaptation, international market entry, and global consumer behavior.

  • MKT 4211 – Marketing Management
    Application of marketing theories to real-world scenarios, emphasizing strategic marketing planning and execution.

  • MKT 2211 – Principles of Marketing
    Foundational course covering the basics of marketing, the marketing mix, and consumer behavior.

  • SCM 2161 – Supply Chain and Operations Management
    Examines logistics, production, inventory control, and operational efficiency within global supply chains.


Courses – Winter 2026 Semester:

  • ACC 2021 – Intermediate Accounting: Equity and Liabilities
    Continuation of Intermediate Accounting focusing on the accounting for liabilities and shareholders’ equity.

  • ACC 3031 – Advanced Accounting
    Advanced topics including consolidations, foreign currency transactions, and complex financial reporting issues.

  • ACC 4031 – Accounting Theory
    Philosophical and theoretical underpinnings of accounting standards and practices.

  • GMGT 3301 – Business Law
    Covers legal principles in business including contracts, corporate law, and regulatory environments.

  • GMGT 4121 – International Business
    Studies the global business environment, international trade, and cross-border management practices.

  • HRIR 4521 – Comparative Industrial Relations and HR Management
    Analysis of international HR practices and comparative labor relations across different countries.

  • HRIR 4541 – Innovations in Human Resource Management
    Exploration of modern HR trends, technology-driven practices, and strategic HR innovations.

  • HRIR 4481 – Collective Bargaining
    Study of labor negotiations, dispute resolution, and union-management dynamics.

  • INTB 3001 – Cross-Cultural Management
    Addresses intercultural challenges in international business and effective leadership across cultures.

  • MIS 2001L – Management Information Systems Lab
    Practical lab supporting theoretical concepts in MIS, focusing on the application of IT in business decision-making.

  • MSCI 2151 – Introduction to Management Science
    Introduction to quantitative decision-making techniques including modeling, optimization, and simulation.


Qualifications Required:

  • A master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the subject area.

  • Postsecondary or university-level teaching experience is a strong asset.

  • Proficiency in the French language is required as courses are taught in French.


Contract Period:

From September 2025 to the end of June 2026, as per USB’s academic calendar.
