NEUF architect(e)s, one of Canada’s most established and diversified architectural firms, is seeking a highly capable Intermediate Architect to join their Montreal office. As an Intermediate Architect, you will work directly with a partner architect and contribute to the design and execution of varied residential projects. Your role will involve overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring all phases meet technical, regulatory, and client requirements while maintaining aesthetic and sustainable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all stages of a project—from conceptualization through final delivery—while respecting timelines and budgets.

  • Coordinate closely with clients to understand functional and technical needs.

  • Design architectural plans compliant with building codes, client goals, and environmental considerations.

  • Develop detailed architectural specifications and technical construction documentation.

  • Maintain strong client communication, providing expert recommendations and maintaining a professional presence.

  • Lead the preparation of technical documents, tender packages, and presentations.

  • Oversee weekly task planning and deliverables for project teams.

  • Assist the project manager during construction phases.

  • Monitor construction work to ensure compliance with NEUF’s quality standards, schedules, and budgets.

  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and collaborators.

Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Architecture.

  • Certified member of l’Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an architecture firm.

  • Strong working knowledge of the National Building Code.

  • Excellent proficiency in Revit.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (English used approximately 50% of the time).
