Architectural Representative

Description:

IKO North America, a global leader in the manufacturing of commercial roofing and waterproofing materials, is seeking an Architectural Representative for the western region of Quebec, including the Greater Montreal Area. With over 70 years of industry leadership, IKO operates on the foundation of integrity, reliability, and excellence, continually investing in the development and success of its employees.

This role involves proactive collaboration with industry stakeholders to promote IKO products and ensure they are specified in public and private tenders. The ideal candidate is bilingual in French and English, highly organized, and confident in delivering presentations and building long-term professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review public (SEAO) and private project specifications to ensure IKO products are approved and listed in tender documents

• Generate demand and identify opportunities within architectural firms

• Host educational product knowledge sessions (e.g., lunch-and-learns) for architects, consultants, and property managers

• Develop and manage trust-based, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and specifiers

• Represent IKO at industry association events to enhance brand visibility

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role or technical representation

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)

• Comfortable with occasional travel (multi-day trips)

• Knowledge of commercial roofing and/or building envelope market is an asset

• Diploma in Architectural Technology is an asset

• Valid driver’s license required

• Self-disciplined, organized, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
