Description:

Technorm, a subsidiary of J.S. Held, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Architect to join its team of technical consultants specializing in Codes, Standards, and Fire Safety. If you have a keen interest in Building Codes, a multidisciplinary mindset, and a desire to work in a stimulating and motivating environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit project sites to conduct analyses and prepare reports.

• Study architectural sketches, drawings, and relevant documentation.

• Identify applicable regulations and determine compliance requirements.

• Organize meetings with project stakeholders as needed.

• Develop solutions to address identified deficiencies and compliance issues.

• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings using established templates.

• Provide expert guidance and responses to client inquiries.

• Ensure accuracy and reliability of all provided information.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Master’s degree in Architecture, with a strong interest in Codes and Standards.

• Minimum 5 years of experience, including consulting experience in Building Codes and Standards.

• Registered member of the Ordre des Architectes du Québec (OAQ).

• Proficiency in French and English (both written and verbal).

• Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license (for site visits).
