Hvac Mobile Technician

Description:

CBRE is seeking a skilled HVAC Mobile Technician to join their Engineering and Technical Services team in British Columbia. The role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and repairing commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency. This position also involves work with food equipment and commercial kitchen systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend modifications for optimal performance.

• Follow clearly defined duties, processes, and procedures under close supervision.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

• Operate company-issued vehicles to carry out daily tasks.

• Follow work routines and standards while demonstrating organizational and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• 3rd or 4th-year HVAC Apprentices accepted; Red Seal HVAC License or Journeyman certification preferred.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; combinations of education and experience may be considered.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to meet physical demands: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
