Forklift Operator

Description:

Groupe Robert, a major logistics and transport company, is currently hiring Caristes (Forklift Operators) for its Kruger operation at the Laval terminal. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for individuals seeking stability, growth, and a high-performing team environment.

The role is split equally between equipment operation and facility upkeep, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive goods and verify accuracy, condition, and quantity of shipments

• Ensure merchandise is shipped in accordance with orders

• Safely load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment

• Prepare outgoing orders and handle goods with care

• Operate forklifts (including clamp trucks) to transport materials across the warehouse

• Enter data accurately in warehouse systems

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workplace

• Participate in continuous improvement projects

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift

• Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory)

• Computer literacy for inventory and warehouse tracking

• Strong physical condition to perform lifting and manual handling

• Team-oriented with strong communication and responsibility

• High attention to occupational health and safety

• Positive, mature, and reliable attitude

Working Conditions:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Work includes both warehouse operation and site upkeep (50/50)

• On-site forklift training (for clamp truck use)
