Required training and experience include:

• Senior Secondary School education supplemented by completion of two-year program in civil engineering technology or related field.
• Valid BC Driver's License — Class 5

Engineering Technician I

• Minimum of three years related municipal engineering experience.
• Eligibility for membership and actively pursuing an Applied Science Technologist Certificate with ASTTBC.

Engineering Technician II

• Minimum of five years related municipal engineering experience.
• Applied Science Technologist Certificate with ASTTBC.
