As an integral part of the team, you will leverage Revit and BIM tools to design and coordinate advanced electrical systems. You’ll work with multidisciplinary professionals—architects, engineers, designers, and construction experts—to ensure seamless project execution. The role emphasizes field interaction including client liaison, consultant coordination, and on-site reviews, offering both technical depth and front-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify detailed Revit models for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, life safety, and communication systems.

• Coordinate electrical design across in-house and external teams using Revit/BIM.

• Conduct both conceptual and detailed designs for new construction and renewal projects.

• Perform site reviews and prepare building condition assessments and reports.

• Ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code, BC Building Code, and National Building Code of Canada.

• Provide contract administration support, including field reviews, RFIs, submittal reviews, and commissioning assistance.

• Stay current on emerging technologies and best practices in electrical system design and BIM methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Certification in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the buildings electrical engineering field.

• Strong Revit proficiency for electrical system modeling and coordination.

• Sound knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and building regulations.

• Proven ability to assess existing systems and produce technical reports.

• Experience with tender documentation, feasibility analysis, and shop drawing review.

• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions and team collaboration.
