Description:
A growing construction company based in Vancouver is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to help drive HR operations and enhance employee engagement across the organization. Coordinate and support an inclusive and engaging onboarding process using BambooHR and other HRIS tools.
Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including drafting job descriptions, managing candidate selection, and onboarding.
Prepare a wide array of HR documentation, such as employment contracts, disciplinary notices, termination records, and investigation notes.
Administer and continuously improve BambooHR, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
Partner with the Office Administrator to plan and host internal employee engagement events.
Actively promote the organization’s employee recognition program.
Support the promotion of a welcoming, inclusive, and positive workplace culture across offices and worksites.
Stay involved in administrative and operational HR activities, contributing to an evolving HR structure.
Stay up to date with Canadian and provincial employment laws, supporting compliance and best practices.
Carry out other relevant HR duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
1–3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or People & Culture roles.
Strong time management and organizational abilities; comfortable handling high-volume workloads and shifting priorities.
Emerging skills in coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills across all organizational levels.
Strong interest in HR law, compliance, and industry trends.
Advanced computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms like BambooHR.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
Monthly Salary: Between 5416 – 6666 CAD (depending on experience)
