Talent Diamond Inc., on behalf of New City Contracting, is seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers to join a dynamic and experienced construction team in Vancouver, BC. With over two decades of industry experience, New City delivers reliable and cost-effective building renewal solutions for both new developments and existing structures.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about hands-on work, eager to grow in the construction field, and committed to job site safety and craftsmanship. Ideal candidates will be responsible for supporting various construction tasks including window and roofing demo, use of power tools, and assisting with heavy machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and safe worksites, including interior suites and surrounding areas

• Assist with the installation of exterior air barriers and support Superintendents in daily activities

• Perform woodworking tasks such as framing and trimming windows

• Move materials safely to the worksite and help set up equipment and tools

• Operate drills, saws, and other power tools as needed

• Assist in demolition of windows and torch-on roofing procedures

• Remove hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations

• Drive scissor lifts and boom lifts (if licensed and required)

• Conduct routine site and equipment inspections

• Meet daily project deadlines and follow supervisor instructions

• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Completed apprenticeships are strongly recommended

• Valid driver's license recommended

• Solid knowledge of construction tools and methods

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

• Strong coordination and understanding of job site safety practices

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with strong interpersonal skills
