Description:

Mastercard is seeking a Consultant – Strategy & Transformation to join its Advisors & Consulting Services division in Vancouver, BC. This role supports the development of strategic initiatives and transformation programs for regional and global clients across diverse industries including banking, payments, retail, and hospitality. The position offers opportunities to contribute to impactful client engagements and grow under the mentorship of consulting leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide creative input and contribute to strategy and transformation projects for regional and global clients.

• Collaborate with Mastercard teams to understand client needs, agendas, and risks.

• Build strong relationships with client analysts and managers as a trusted partner.

• Assist senior consultants in developing findings, preparing presentations, and delivering client recommendations.

• Identify key analysis areas independently and synthesize findings into actionable insights.

• Lead internal and client meetings, and support project management tasks.

• Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital and consulting capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Undergraduate degree with relevant work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, product management, or business intelligence.

• Strong logical and structured thinking with affinity for numerical analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Effective communication skills in English (and local language if applicable).

• Eligibility to work in Canada and ability to travel as required.

Preferred:

• Experience managing tasks/workstreams in collaborative environments.

• Relevant industry expertise.

• Strong problem-solving, brainstorming, and solution implementation abilities.
