Concrete Form Setter

Description:

Amrize Construction is seeking a full-time Concrete Form Setter in Saskatoon, SK. The role involves assembling, securing, and aligning formwork for concrete placement on road construction projects. The Concrete Form Setter will work closely with the concrete finishing team to ensure proper placement and maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret construction drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and secure formwork for concrete pours

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

• Ensure proper alignment and bracing of forms

• Strip and clean forms after concrete placement

• Collaborate with the concrete finishing team for smooth workflow

• Promote safety culture and adhere to all health and environmental policies

• Proper use of Amrize-approved PPE, including respirators

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Knowledge of construction drawings and formwork techniques

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions

• Successful completion of pre-employment medical assessment

• Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and field risk assessments
