Community Engagement Coordinator

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Grow and implement the Seniors Day Out Program, an adult day program serving Chatham-Kent.
• Work alongside the Community and Client Relations Manager to develop and implement a community outreach plan.
• Create awareness and support for the program and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
• Actively identifying and exploring partnerships with community partners/organizations to expand the strategic vision.
• Develop effective communication strategies to expand and grow the program.
• Creating, designing and executing social media marketing campaigns and strategies.

The preferred candidate holds:

• Post Secondary Degree or diploma in social sciences is preferred but not required.
• Experience in the field of Gerontology or Activation (or equivalent) an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• A valid Class “G” driver’s license in good standing is required as is a reliable vehicle to use on corporate business.
