Article is redefining the furniture industry, and we are seeking a Casual Facilities Associate to join our team at the Vancouver headquarters. This dynamic role requires a versatile and resourceful individual who can support multiple departments and contribute to the smooth operation of HQ activities. As a Facilities Associate, you will play an essential role in handling product samples, assisting the creative/photo studio team, organizing the workspace, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety in their work, are mechanically inclined, and can adapt to changing priorities while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unbox, and assemble incoming furniture samples; report any damages or assembly issues.

• Maintain an organized inventory of furniture samples and fabric/leather/wood swatches.

• Stage furniture in the photo studio, collaborating with set designers and creative teams.

• Perform weekly inventory checks on swatches and quality control on all incoming orders.

• Ship and track fabric and product samples using shipping software; liaise with carriers to resolve issues.

• Assist with event setups, HQ organization, and general operational support.

• Perform minor building maintenance, such as watering plants and conducting perimeter checks.

• Support a safe and clean work environment by participating in safety walks and adhering to safety protocols.

Who You Are:

• Strong problem-solver with the ability to work independently and handle last-minute requests.

• Prior customer service, warehouse, photo studio, or event setup experience is an asset.

• Mechanically inclined and capable of assembling furniture.

• Comfortable lifting/moving items up to 100 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with team support/equipment.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada (Visa sponsorship not available).

• Completion of a criminal background check required.

Work Schedule:

• Casual, part-time role – 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

• Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

• On-site at Vancouver HQ
