Business Analyst

Description:

TC Transcontinental, a North American leader in packaging, printing, and educational publishing, is looking for a motivated and dynamic Business Analyst (Finance Systems) to join its team in Montreal, QC. This role is ideal for recent graduates in accounting or information systems, or those with a strong understanding of transactional finance and a passion for enterprise systems.

As a Business Analyst, you will support critical business functions, contributing directly to the evolution and governance of financial systems. You'll work in a hybrid setup at the modern office located on rue St-Denis, conveniently near Rosemont metro station.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage service requests, analyze requirements, and obtain approvals

• Implement security changes and configurations in various financial systems

• Coordinate annual validations and generate compliance reports to meet internal and external audit standards

• Update governance-related policies and procedures

• Participate in system enhancement and finance-related projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• University degree in accounting and/or information systems

• Solid understanding of transactional finance principles (general ledger, accounts receivable/payable)

• Knowledge or experience with PeopleSoft Finance is a strong asset

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken (essential for cross-regional collaboration)
