Account Manager

Based in British Columbia and serving clients nationwide, our growing team is looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Account Manager/Underwriter to support our expanding operations.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed mortgage professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering high-level service to both clients and lenders. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing mortgage files, managing documentation, and coordinating closely with lenders and internal team members to ensure a smooth funding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze client documents (income, credit, down payment, etc.)
• Prepare detailed lender notes to support mortgage submissions
• Follow up on outstanding lender conditions and documentation
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, and internal team members to ensure timely closings
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and lender portals
• Support the broker team with underwriting, compliance, and client management

Requirements:

• Active Mortgage Broker or Sub-Mortgage Broker license in Canada (ideally in British Columbia) — required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Canadian mortgage industry (brokerage or lender side)
• Strong understanding of mortgage documentation and qualification guidelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with tools like Filogix/Velocity, Finmo, and major lender portals

Compensation:

• Generous base salary plus commission/bonus tied to performance and targets
