Description:

Iris Software Inc., a leading global technology services provider with over 4,000 associates and operations across India, the USA, and Canada, is seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Design Manager to join their Toronto-based team on a hybrid contract basis. This role is for a Fortune 100 direct client and will require overseeing and managing all design aspects of product development, from concept through to successful launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the highest design standards.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in design, prototyping, and project management tools such as Figma, MURAL, Adobe Creative Suite, Confluence, and JIRA, coupled with mastery in visual design principles, including grids, balance, and color theory. A deep understanding of atomic design principles — such as symbols, layer styles, and variables — is essential. The role also demands extensive experience in building, growing, and maintaining robust design libraries and scalable design systems.

An integral part of this position is ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in all designs by applying AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, creative, and able to lead the design team in producing visually appealing, user-centric, and accessible interfaces.
