Description:
The Territory Sales Representative will drive business growth across commercial and residential markets within the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. This role focuses on promoting engineered products and solutions by engaging with engineering firms, contractors, and distributors. You'll develop relationships, drive sales, and support our local distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Promotion: Sell products and services to prospects, specifiers, contractors, distributors, and end-users.
- Market Strategy: Conduct market research and report findings to support sales strategy.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors.
- Project Development: Identify and pursue construction and retrofit projects with high sales potential.
- Promotional Activities: Execute promotion plans including presentations, training seminars, and branch visits.
- Team Collaboration: Work with inside sales, engineering, and support teams for seamless customer experience.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on activities, progress, and market trends.
What You Bring
- 2-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction, HVAC, industrial, or building products.
- Market/industry experience preferred with a reliable and dependable work ethic.
- Strong relationship-building skills with contractors, owners, and distributors.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities with mechanical aptitude.
- College or university degree preferred.
- Travel (15%) within territory.
