Description:

Protiviti, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking a Technology Audit & Advisory Manager to join its Financial Services practice in Toronto. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with financial institutions across North America, helping them better manage risks associated with technology, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize performance through innovation and technology enablement.

As a Manager, you will lead projects, develop client relationships, and provide impactful solutions to complex business problems. Your role involves mentoring and coaching consultants, facilitating the successful completion of project work, and serving as an ambassador for Protiviti in the market. You will also work closely with highly regulated financial services clients, gaining deeper expertise in industry regulations while contributing to client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technology audit & advisory projects, focusing on IT general controls, IT frameworks, cybersecurity, cloud audits, data governance, privacy, enterprise applications, resilience, disaster recovery, IT SOX, and emerging technologies.

  • Identify risks and opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen performance, and improve technology utilization.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, including with senior executives, while delivering exceptional client service.

  • Mentor and supervise consultants, oversee project deliverables, and create professional development opportunities for your team.

  • Contribute to business development through proposal preparation and market strategies.

  • Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements, including AI, automation, and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in technology audit, risk, and control programs.

  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, and ITIL.

  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance requirements.

  • Hands-on knowledge of financial services industry regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Visio, Access, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or RPA solutions is an asset.

  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar are strongly preferred.

  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Work Environment:
Protiviti follows a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. Travel may be required depending on client engagements.
