Description:
CAE, a global leader in aviation training and simulation, is seeking a Technician Specialist for its Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Department. In this permanent role, you will serve as the technical reference for Repair and Maintenance of Printed Circuit Boards (RMR), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to operational excellence in electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical and logistical support to electronic inspector technicians.
Analyze performance indicators and propose improvements for the inspection team.
Maintain and assess test stations to ensure smooth operations.
Act as a technical liaison with engineering, providing support for test runs and analysis of recurring repair issues.
Develop and enhance test systems.
Collaborate with customer service, especially for managing “No Fault Found” (NFF) issues.
Manage material orders related to repairs.
Assess parts obsolescence and recommend updates.
Ensure the department maintains quality certifications (ISO 9001 and AS9100).
Lead the implementation of new health and safety measures.
Candidate Requirements:
DEC (college diploma) in Electronics.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, including various OS, networks, and servers.
Proficiency in Windows OS administration.
Excellent technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.
Methodical and solutions-oriented approach to problems.
Advanced knowledge of measuring instruments and equipment.
Basic programming skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills in both French and English (verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced).
Previous experience at CAE considered an asset.
