MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC - ON THE ROAD Summary Of Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose defects or malfunctions
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand or power tools
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other regular maintenance on equipment
- Complete all required reports and forms related to work assignments
- Record time and materials used in performing assigned tasks
- Maintain the condition of the mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Other related duties
Skills
- Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record
- At least one year of experience in the crushing industry
- At least three years of experience as a heavy equipment technician
- Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to use basic computer functions
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Punctuality
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Start and end of shift varies depending on travel requirements.
