Technical Distribution Center

Description:

Cogeco Connexion Inc., a leading Canadian telecommunications and connectivity company, is seeking a Coordinator for the Technical Distribution Center (TDC) to manage and support operational activities related to equipment distribution, testing, refurbishment, and inventory management. This position involves ensuring smooth order fulfillment, maintaining operational security, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily distribution operations following established procedures, including use of test equipment and motorized vehicles.

• Process equipment returns, salvage accessories, and manage redeployment or storage.

• Fulfill technician, contractor, and storefront equipment orders.

• Execute database and administrative tasks related to HTD testing, refurbishing, shipping, and receiving.

• Conduct physical inventory counts and maintain compliance with security protocols.

• Sort, package, and label equipment, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.

• Support Lean and 6S initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

• Address customer, inventory, and delivery issues in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma required.

• 1–3 years’ experience in distribution centre, packaging, or CATV materials handling.

• Certification or experience with skid wrapper, pump truck, forklift, or Raymond Reach is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel), WHMIS, and MSDS is required.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds in varying climatic conditions.

• Strong interpersonal, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
