The Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, in collaboration with École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montréal, is offering a postdoctoral research position in the field of Operations and Supply Chain Management. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Dr. Hossein Zolfagharinia (Toronto Metropolitan University) and Dr. Armin Jabbarzadeh (ÉTS, Montréal), joining a vibrant research team focused on developing innovative solutions in supply chain systems.
Position Details:
Start Date: September 1, 2025
Duration: 1 year (renewable depending on performance and funding)
Location: Based at Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto, with collaborative activities at ÉTS, Montréal
Eligibility: Open to international candidates; preference may be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents
Eligibility Requirements:
A Ph.D. in Operations & Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a closely related field
Proficiency in data analytics and machine learning using Python or MATLAB
Experience in mathematical modeling and optimization techniques
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
At least one publication in an A or A* journal as per ABDC 2022 list is preferred
