Hitachi Solutions Canada, a leading Microsoft solutions integrator, is seeking an experienced D365 F&O Technical Architect to join their innovative and collaborative global team. As a D365 F&O Technical Architect, you will lead technical workshops, design sessions, and development efforts to deliver cutting-edge ERP solutions that support clients’ strategic business goals. You will play a pivotal role in guiding enterprise clients through technical design, integration, and customization phases while ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with best practices.
Lead client-facing workshops to define technical requirements, design architecture, and guide implementation strategies for D365 F&O solutions.
Oversee technical workstreams including integrations, extensions, and data migrations.
Provide design guidance on environment provisioning, application integration, and RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion/Data Migration, Extensions).
Align all technical requirements with overall business goals and client strategies.
Develop and review technical designs ensuring traceability and quality compliance throughout project phases.
Supervise technical teams to ensure adherence to development guidelines and standards.
Identify and resolve cross-module dependencies and integration issues.
Ensure best practices in system security and data governance.
Actively contribute to Hitachi’s intellectual property and packaged service initiatives.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of ERP technical implementation with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 and D365 F&O.
At least 2 full lifecycle ERP implementations leading technical workstreams.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL, and Power BI.
Experience with Azure technologies: Logic Apps, PowerApps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Functions, and API Management.
Familiarity with Data Management Framework (DIXF), integration patterns, and extensible data security.
Hands-on experience with code build/deployment via Visual Studio Team Services and LCS.
Strong understanding of D365FO functional modules: Financials, Project Management, and Manufacturing.
Experience in pre-sales activities and technical solution demonstrations.
Business process mapping and documentation skills.
Familiarity with Azure licensing and cost management.
