If you have strong expertise in Java, Go, SAS Viya, and cloud technologies like AWS, this is your chance to own end-to-end development — from API design to deployment — and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and test microservices in Java / Go.
• Integrate versioned APIs with SAS Viya.
• Embed Viya capabilities into end-to-end solutions for predictive analytics, Anti-Money Laundering, and data quality workflows.
• Build and operate cloud-native deployments on AWS using Docker tools.
• Produce architecture diagrams, Functional/Detail Design Documents, and Unit Test Plans.
• Implement API security, row-level data controls, and authentication/authorization to meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product managers and compliance SMEs, and troubleshoot production incidents through to resolution.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of software development with a proven record of delivering scalable services.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and Model Manager with SAS Viya.
• Expert-level Java 11+ / Go development, including concurrency, Streams, and idiomatic patterns.
• Demonstrated mastery of API design, micro-service architecture, and event-driven patterns.
• Strong container & orchestration skills.
• Cloud proficiency with AWS or Azure; experience tuning Viya on cloud compute.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
