Spare School Bus Driver

Description:

Spare School Bus Drivers provide relief coverage when regular route drivers are unavailable and are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. Additional responsibilities include performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.

Successful applicants will be provided with a training time allowance and reimbursement of approved expenses pertaining to licensing, driver's medical and Criminal Records/Vulnerable Sector Check.

Qualifications:

• must be comfortable with navigation as calls will cover various routes
• must be committed to safety and customer service
• valid Class 5 (non-GDL) driver’s license
