Truck Driver

Description:

The Infrastructure, Transportation & Parks Department requires a regular full-time Truck Driver /Swamper 2. You will be responsible for truck driving, manual collection and disposal work involving tandem axle rear loader garbage trucks with a G.V.W. over 26,100 kg. As a member of a two-person crew, you will share equally in the truck driving and swamping duties during the collection of garbage and green can/yard trimmings. The work also includes the operation of auxiliary equipment, preparation of work records, public interaction and routine maintenance of the truck and equipment. You will also perform other duties which will include general labouring and driving assignments.
