Social Media Coordinator

Connected Creative, a full-service digital marketing agency based in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing multiple client accounts across diverse industries, focusing on the creation and execution of compelling content strategies that elevate brand awareness and drive meaningful engagement.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, creating, and scheduling engaging social media content across major platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok. They will actively monitor and engage with client communities, track key performance metrics (such as engagement, reach, and conversions), and adjust strategies to meet evolving client goals. The role demands close collaboration with both the Social Media Manager and Marketing Manager, as well as directly with clients to align social media efforts with brand identity and business objectives.

The position includes curating aesthetically pleasing social media feeds, creating multimedia content through live event shoots, assisting with influencer partnerships, conducting competitor research, and generating detailed monthly performance reports. Strong organizational skills, adaptability to various brand voices, and a deep understanding of current social media trends are essential.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 1–3 years of experience in social media management/content creation/digital marketing (preferably agency experience)

• Strong command of platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others

• Proficiency in using tools like Canva, along with photography and videography skills

• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

• Strong multitasking and time management capabilities

• Creative mindset and a passion for digital storytelling and community engagement
