Digital Advertising Strategist

 

Description:

Bluetrain is looking for a Digital Advertising Strategist to join their team in this full-time, permanent role. As a Digital Advertising Strategist, you'll be responsible for defining the strategic direction for clients' advertising efforts, executing plans, and analyzing the results. The role requires a deep knowledge of digital advertising platforms, creative thinking, and excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams. You will also be responsible for presenting in client meetings and creating long-term advertising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Bluetrain team members to develop digital advertising plans for clients, including ad platforms, tactics/targeting, and budgets.

  • Support Account Managers with advertising questions and performance issues, joining client meetings as required.

  • Assist in business development efforts by brainstorming and scoping enterprise-level campaign proposals and RFP submissions.

  • Perform peer reviews of client ad accounts to drive continuous improvement and knowledge development.

  • Manage your own portfolio of priority ad accounts to improve performance.

  • Provide consultation on advertising landing pages, recommending optimizations such as A/B testing.

  • Stay updated on digital advertising trends to keep the team’s expertise current across platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Business is a definite asset.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with digital paid media, SEM, paid social marketing, data presentation, channel marketing, and/or marketing campaign management.

  • Hands-on experience managing analytics and tag management platforms.

  • Proven experience with marketing measurement tools focused on conversion, attribution, and performance management.

  • Demonstrated success in developing strategic plans, executing them, and measuring/reporting results.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with senior marketing leaders and executives.
