Senior Warehouse Manager

DM Elite Talent is partnering with an established organization to recruit an experienced Senior Warehouse Manager to oversee its warehouse and distribution operations.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to drive operational efficiency and has extensive experience managing both unionized and non-unionized teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, shipping and inventory management.
Lead and develop a team of approximately 15 warehouse associates and supervisory staff.
Manage employee performance, scheduling, training and labour planning.
Act as the primary management representative for union-related matters, including grievances, CBA compliance and arbitration.
Drive productivity, safety, food quality, inventory accuracy and operational KPIs.
Collaborate with senior management, sales and supply chain teams to ensure efficient operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
5+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally within food or distribution.
Direct experience managing unionized and non-unionized employees.
Strong knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, grievance procedures and union-management relations.
Solid understanding of food safety and refrigerated warehouse operations.
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate teams and drive accountability.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding and refrigerated environment.
