Position Overview

The Senior Sales Representative will play a key role in assisting the sales team and supporting the daily operations of Nakiska Winter Sports School. This role focuses on ensuring efficient lesson bookings, providing superior guest service, resolving conflicts, and maintaining smooth coordination between guests, instructors, and resort departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with ski and snowboard lesson bookings via face-to-face interactions, phone, and email.

• Oversee bookings and refunds, ensuring accuracy and timely guest support.

• Support the sales team with operational tasks and conflict resolution.

• Handle cash and perform money-handling and cash-out procedures accurately.

• Respond to guest inquiries and provide resort-related information.

• Maintain a professional image and ensure all communication is timely and accurate.

• Collaborate with other mountain departments as assigned by supervisors or management.

Key Skills and Knowledge

• Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional demeanor.

• Active listening, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.

• Computer literacy (including MS Office, booking systems, and POS systems).

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of skiing and/or snowboarding is an asset; basic understanding of CSIA/CASI practices preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience and team coordination skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid work VISA or legal authorization to work in Canada.

• Cover letter and resume/CV required for application.

• Criminal Record Check (dated within 12 months) required only if applying to become a certified instructor during employment.

Compensation

• Hourly wage: Up to $23.00/hr (based on experience).

• Seasonal full-time role with opportunities to work in a dynamic winter resort environment.
