Retail Sales Representative

Description:

Acosta is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to strategically represent clients in the Grocery, Gas, and Convenience Retail channels. This role involves executing sales and merchandising strategies, ensuring product placement and dominance, and building strong client relationships. The position is ideal for organized, self-motivated individuals with strong communication and sales skills who can work independently within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sales merchandising coverage and execute retail special projects in an assigned territory.

• Conduct handheld reporting and ensure adherence to client priorities and objectives.

• Place new items and maintain 100% distribution of existing items.

• Ensure compliance with shelving guidelines and planograms.

• Conduct pricing audits, build displays, and place point-of-sale material.

• Build and maintain relationships with store personnel.

• Negotiate product placement and communicate client information and promotions effectively.

Qualifications:

• Prior territory retail experience preferred.

• Strong relationship-building and persuasive communication skills.

• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

• Computer literate and comfortable using digital technology (handheld devices, cameras, etc.).

• Regular access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.

• Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs, stand, bend, and reach on a daily basis.

• Ability to drive for extended periods and store sample products and racking.

• Access to high-speed internet.
