Palo Alto Networks, the global leader in cybersecurity innovation, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead and expand its regional sales operations across the Canadian Enterprise Market. This pivotal role is designed for a high-performing sales leader who thrives on exceeding goals, driving team success, and shaping the cybersecurity landscape for a safer digital future.
As a core member of the Sales Leadership Team, you will build and guide a high-performance sales organization—fostering excellence, accountability, and innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and mentoring top sales talent to achieve individual and organizational success.
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Build, lead, and develop a high-achieving team of quota-carrying and lead-generation sales professionals.
Define and implement strategic sales plans to exceed revenue and growth targets across assigned territories.
Drive strong forecast accuracy, sales pipeline development, and account planning discipline.
Collaborate with other District Sales Managers to align regional strategies and ensure goal attainment.
Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to inform leadership decisions.
Team Development & Mentorship
Coach, mentor, and empower sales representatives across all stages of the sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to closing deals.
Recruit, train, and retain top-performing sales talent to build a world-class cybersecurity sales team.
Cultivate a collaborative, performance-driven culture that values learning, accountability, and innovation.
Client & Partner Engagement
Build strong, trust-based relationships with enterprise clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
Engage with customers to identify challenges, propose tailored cybersecurity solutions, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Partner with channel and reseller networks to strengthen market reach and optimize joint sales opportunities.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Palo Alto Networks’ product roadmap, cybersecurity trends, and competitive positioning.
Operational Excellence
Participate in weekly forecasting, regional management, and performance review meetings.
Leverage Salesforce.com and other CRM tools to track progress and analyze business results.
Travel up to 25% quarterly within the assigned region for client meetings, events, and team collaboration.
Required
Proven experience leading successful enterprise sales teams in the networking or network security domain.
Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue goals and drive measurable business growth.
Deep knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies, including solution and consultative selling.
Strong experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
Proficiency in Salesforce.com and data-driven sales management.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
Preferred
Previous experience managing both quota-carrying and lead-generation teams in Canada’s enterprise market.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into compelling business value.
Proven success in talent acquisition and long-term team development.
