What You Need to Succeed
- Synthesize a diverse product portfolio into a cohesive strategy that multiplies developer productivity.
- Define the roadmap for emerging areas—public APIs, MCPs, agentic systems—where you'll shape what's possible.
- Understand developer workflows deeply: local development, collaboration, testing, CI/CD integration, and deployment.
- Gather research and competitive intelligence to identify high-leverage opportunities across the platform.
- Define success metrics that connect developer velocity and satisfaction to business outcomes.
- Communicate strategy and progress with clarity to engineering, product, and executive leadership.

- Demonstrated ability to manage a broad, complex product portfolio and unify disparate pieces into strategy.
- Deep understanding of developer workflows: Git, CI/CD, testing, collaboration, deployment, and infrastructure.
- Experience shipping integrations or platform APIs; familiarity with emerging technologies (AI agents, MCPs, agentic systems).
- Track record taking products from strategy through launch and iterative improvement.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate organizational complexity.
- Preferred: Experience at a developer platform (GitHub, GitLab, Vercel, Netlify, LaunchDarkly, etc.); hands-on knowledge of WordPress, Drupal, or modern frameworks.
