Description:

Deloitte is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join its Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice, with a specialization in SAP tax implementations and tax automation. This role involves spearheading the day-to-day management of tax technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The position provides the opportunity to work closely with clients while also mentoring and developing team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end tax technology implementation projects.

• Gather, analyze, and manage business requirements for tax-related ERP integrations.

• Configure SAP for indirect tax (GST, HST, PST) and related functions.

• Conduct functional design, scenario design, flow mapping, testing, and system validation.

• Develop efficient processes and establish robust support procedures.

• Deliver tailored client training to ensure adoption of tax technology solutions.

• Manage relationships with key clients, contribute to pursuit teams, and support proposal development.

• Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, sharing expertise in SAP tax and indirect tax technology solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in tax, preferably with ERP/technology project delivery.

• Hands-on experience configuring indirect tax (GST, HST, PST) within SAP.

• Exposure to tax technology applications such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avatax, or Sovos.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead strategic initiatives and manage full project lifecycles.
