Senior Manager

Description:

Kraft Heinz, one of the world’s most recognized food and beverage companies, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, IT – Infrastructure Security & Data Protection to join its Toronto headquarters team. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the company’s global IT infrastructure and data assets.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a zero-trust security architecture, overseeing critical infrastructure security components, and developing strategies that safeguard the organization’s information systems against modern cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a secure IT infrastructure including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, CASB, NAC, and secure web gateways.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive zero-trust security roadmap aligned with corporate IT strategy and business goals.

• Collaborate closely with teams across IT Operations, Cloud Operations, and Architecture to embed security best practices throughout all systems.

• Formulate and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and best practices.

• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential security threats.

• Lead or assist in incident response activities, ensuring prompt and effective containment and recovery during security breaches.

• Oversee adherence to industry security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and ensure continuous improvement of defense mechanisms.

• Evaluate, deploy, and manage advanced cloud security tools such as Wiz, Azure Native, Palo Alto NGFW, within multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Serve as a subject matter expert on infrastructure security and data protection, advising senior leadership on emerging threats and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

• Proven experience in information and infrastructure security, with a strong focus on network and cloud environments.

• Expertise in firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention systems, CASB, NAC, and secure web gateways.

• Deep understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, Zero Trust architecture).

• Proficiency with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred:

• Experience developing enterprise-level security policies and compliance strategies.

• Leadership experience in managing IT security teams or cross-functional security initiatives.
