Deloitte, Canada’s largest professional services firm, is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager in Tax Technology Consulting (SAP focus) to join its innovative and rapidly growing team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver strategic tax technology projects, design efficient tax processes, and help clients implement ERP solutions with a strong emphasis on SAP indirect tax automation.

As part of Deloitte’s Tax Technology Consulting practice, you will spearhead client engagements, manage project delivery, lead teams, and apply your technical expertise to create innovative solutions that drive measurable business impact. This position combines hands-on tax technology implementation with leadership, mentorship, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage tax technology projects (particularly SAP) to meet scope, cost, timeline, and quality standards.

• Translate business requirements into functional tax technology solutions.

• Configure indirect tax solutions (GST, HST, PST) in SAP.

• Drive scenario design, flow mapping, process optimization, testing, training, and post-implementation support.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contribute to proposal development, and support business growth.

• Mentor, coach, and support team members, sharing expertise and fostering professional growth.

About the Team:
The Deloitte Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team specializes in leveraging advanced technology and process improvements to enhance clients’ tax operations. The group thrives on collaboration, intellectual curiosity, and innovation, reimagining how technology shapes the future of tax functions globally.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in tax with demonstrated success in delivering technology projects.

• Experience with indirect tax technology applications such as ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avatax, or Sovos.

• Hands-on expertise configuring indirect taxes in SAP (GST, HST, PST).

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, or related field.

• Proven project management skills, strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Ability to lead end-to-end projects and manage multidisciplinary teams.
