Varicent, a recognized global leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM) and Revenue Performance Management (RPM) solutions, is seeking a Senior Director, People Solutions to join its leadership team. Trusted by leading organizations such as T-Mobile, ServiceNow, Wawanesa Bank, Shaw Industries, Moody’s, and Stryker, Varicent delivers innovative SaaS platforms that empower companies to optimize revenue strategies, enhance seller performance, and achieve growth.

Reporting directly to the CHRO, this role requires a strong mix of business acumen, strategic HR expertise, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to coach and influence senior leaders. The Sr. Director will operate at multiple levels, from shaping people strategies with executives to providing direct coaching to managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute people strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on talent planning, organizational design, retention, and change management.

  • Data-Driven HR: Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, solve complex workforce challenges, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

  • Transformation Initiatives: Lead cross-functional business transformation projects that enhance employee experience, growth, and retention.

  • Employee Relations: Proactively resolve employee relations issues while addressing root causes for long-term solutions.

  • Leadership Coaching: Guide managers to lead effectively through change, improve performance management practices, and strengthen employee engagement.

  • Talent Management & Development: Drive performance management, succession planning, and professional development programs in partnership with Talent Enablement.

  • Compliance: Ensure HR policies align with Canadian and international employment legislation. Act as lead for legal rollouts and collaborate with compliance teams on HR legal matters.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, Employee Experience teams, COEs, and external partners to enhance organizational capability.

Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years at the Director or Sr. Director level.

  • Proven ability to manage HR operations across a global workforce.

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation; international HR compliance knowledge required.

  • Experience across HR domains: total rewards, talent acquisition, organizational design, change management, HR operations, and talent management.

  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale cross-functional business transformation projects.

  • Proven ability to manage change in a high-demand business environment.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all organizational levels.

  • Strong track record of translating business needs into actionable people strategies and connecting the dots across teams.

  • Experience in SaaS environments preferred, particularly supporting sales and engineering functions.

  • Expertise in program and project management.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time, remote position based in Toronto, ON.

  • Some travel may be required.
