Senior Analyst

Description:

We are looking to fill two roles, reporting to the Director of Distribution Strategy for Canada Life's Group Customer division. Of the two roles, one is a permanent full-time opportunity, and the other is a 14-month cover for maternity leave. All applicants will be considered for the full-time opportunity. What You Will Do

• Strategic planning:
  • Play a key role in the development and tracking of the organization’s long-term strategic plan
  • Analyze markets and growth opportunities (internal and external)
  • Engage stakeholders from across the organization to explore, share and collaborate on Strat plans
• Strategy projects and major initiatives:
  • Work with Strategy leaders and management team to help build business cases for major projects and strategy initiatives
  • Assist in the development of pitch decks and financial models
  • Draft white papers and presentations for senior leadership
• Collaboration and stakeholder relationship management:
  • Understand and stay current with the competitive landscape
  • Partner with senior Strategy leaders in navigating and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within major industry partners
  • Support the incubation of new ideas to maintain/enhance competitive position
