Security Systems Technician

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Security Systems Technician located in Ottawa, ON. The Security Systems Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of electronic security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems. The role involves working collaboratively with a dynamic team to ensure timely and effective service delivery to meet client requirements. The technician will also provide solutions for system enhancements and upgrades while upholding ADSS’s high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications
 

• Experience and skills in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic security systems such as access control, video surveillance, alarm, and intercom systems
• Knowledge of technology, including video analytics and integrated systems, as well as expertise in deploying and configuring security hardware and software
• Familiarity with industrial, commercial, residential, and government security setups
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with team members and clients
• Ability to work efficiently on-site in a variety of environments with a commitment to excellence in service and client satisfaction
• Post-secondary education in electronics, security, or a related field is an asset
• Minimum 4 years experience as a security systems technician
