Salesforce Data Architect

Description:

• Lead Salesforce data management and migration projects helping fast growing middle market companies with their data strategy and execution
• Understand clients’ business, functional and informational needs to translate into data requirements
• Partner with solution and technical architects on medium to large scale projects for middle market clients
• Conduct discovery and design workshops to create data requirements, user stories and work with implementation team to execute on plan
• Ensure project success through to completion
• Assess, rearchitect, improve and maintain clients’ current data processes and architecture for both on-premise and cloud-based data systems
• Assess risk, technical debt and remuneration options
• Create and execute on data professional services that assess and improve data strategy, data quality, data security, data governance, data architecture, and more
• Conduct team reviews and recommend data modeling, administrative, and design improvements
• Learn, research, and institutionalize advanced data technologies, concepts and standards to create a data COE (center of excellence)
• Contribute to building and improving our data consulting delivery capabilities (people, process, and technology)
• Demonstrate high-level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments

Basic Qualifications

• A passion for Salesforce
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in the Salesforce platform including 2+ years as a Salesforce Data Architect
• Experience across multiple clouds
• Leadership experience and/or capabilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Adept at managing client expectations, leading implementation teams, and maintaining scope according to defined requirements
• Expert level experience defining the data architecture landscape, identifying gaps between
• current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable
• achievement of the desired business outcomes
• Proficient understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and App Cloud
• A client-focused attitude in both client engagements and presales scoping
• Demonstrated deep data integration and/or migration experience with Salesforce.com and other cloud-related tools
• Demonstrated expertise in complex relational database systems and deep proficiency with SQL, data modeling and more
• Demonstrate experience with complex coding through ETL and middleware tools
• Experience with industry standard data warehouse or data mart technologies
• Experience with both dimensional and 3rd normal form data modeling, data integration, and reporting
• Hands-on ability to design and set up reporting tools and build reports and ad hoc functionality
• Experience with reporting/BI tools such as Tableau
• Ability to travel up to 15%
