Job Description:

We are currently looking for an energetic, design and detail-oriented Architectural technologist to join our growing firm. The architectural technologist/ project coordinator will coordinate with architects, designers, and engineers to design for construction projects.

· Participate in meetings and push boundaries;

· Work with architects and designers to produce working drawings, 3D renderings and models;

· Review design and code compliance;

· Assist in preparing construction documents;

· Assist in preparing contract and bidding documents;

· Assist in Contract Administration and conduct site visits on behalf of architects;

· Assist in preparing Feasibility Studies and Building Condition Assessments;

Required qualifications and skills:

A Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent;

Minimum 2 - 5 years local architectural office work experience;

Excellent in both English written and verbal communication;

Excellent organization/planning skills;

Excellent knowledge of wood-framed construction and detailing;

Excellent knowledge of Building Code Part 3 or Part 9;

Advanced proficiency in Revit is required;

Experience in Institutional projects is an asset;

Construction Administration experience is an asset;

Valid BC driver’s license and willing to travel to small communities across BC;
