Room Attendant

Description:

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, part of the renowned Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand, is seeking a Room Attendant (Seasonal) to join its housekeeping team for the September to February season. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, surrounded by natural beauty, while contributing to world-class hospitality.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that guest rooms are immaculately clean, comfortable, and inviting, creating lasting memories for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned guestrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, bathroom cleaning, window washing, and replenishing supplies according to Fairmont standards.

• Manage and support the housekeeping department’s recycling and sustainability programs.

• Provide evening turndown service when required.

• Maintain and stock linen closets at the end of each shift.

• Report maintenance issues or defects in guest rooms and adjacent areas.

• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.

• Capable of frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

• Occasionally required to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and ramps.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (visa sponsorship not available).
